Frontoplasy in Málaga
Frontoglabellar rejuvenation is an effective option for reversing the visible signs of aging in the upper facial third. If you are looking to rejuvenate your facial appearance and get rid of unwanted horizontal and vertical lines, consider this procedure as a viable option for natural and long-lasting results.
What is frontoplasty?
Forehead and glabella rejuvenation is a surgical procedure designed to target visible signs of ageing in the upper third of the face. Thanks to the combined endoscopic and scalp excision techniques utilised by our team, patients can achieve highly satisfying aesthetic outcomes with a faster, more comfortable recovery.
Signs of aging in the upper facial third.
The aging process initially manifests itself in the frontoglabellar region, with the appearance of horizontal lines in the forehead due to the contraction of the frontalis muscle and vertical lines in the glabellar area due to the contraction of the corrugator muscles. These lines, combined with atrophy of the soft tissues, can cause the frontal skin and eyebrows to descend, resulting in a tired, aged and morose appearance.
Aging in the frontoglabellar region may be associated with other problems, such as upper eyelid dermatochalasis. In more severe cases, sagging skin can affect vision by restricting the upper visual fields. In some cases, blepharoplasty alone is not sufficient to solve the problem, and additional brow lift techniques are necessary.
Our Surgical Approach
We have developed an advanced surgical approach to forehead and glabella rejuvenation. This technique combines the use of endoscopy with scalp excision to achieve highly satisfying aesthetic outcomes.
The objective is to minimise risks and accelerate the patient's recovery.
Rejuvenation of the frontoglabella region is performed under general anaesthesia to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure. The necessary incisions are carefully made in the scalp, which allows them to be hidden and not visible to the naked eye.
